transmediale has launched a limited, hand-crafted edition of the Almanac for Refusal. A microcomputer encased in a ceramic shell acts as a portal to the full content of the Almanac. Continuing with the lunar publishing rhythm, the portal opens every full moon, only then granting access to the original files of the Almanac contributions. This edition of hand-made ceramics numbers just 80, and celebrates the year-long publishing endeavours of transmediale 2021–22.
The hand-made ceramic shell holding the microcomputer is accompanied by a silk screened lunar calendar. A version of the poster can also be purchased separately.
